"Wanda has worked hard to achieve first-time home ownership and we're excited to fill this house with home furnishings as an added surprise for her as she makes this a home for her family."

To date, in partnership with Aaron's and Habitat for Humanity affiliates, WDC and its sponsors have rewarded over 142 single parents and over 380 children and dependents across the nation with the American Dream of first-time homeownership in Atlanta, Baltimore, Baton Rouge, Dallas, Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Tampa.

Aaron's has been a longtime supporter of Warrick Dunn Charities initiatives and began contributing the furnishings for the Homes for the Holidays program in 2003.  Warrick Dunn Charities was founded in 2002 by former pro football star Warrick Dunn.

"Over the past 12 years, in partnership with Aaron's, we've been fortunate to partner with Aaron's to fill more than 105 homes of single parents with furniture, electronics and appliances, which helps these families greatly in creating their own path to financial freedom and stability," said Warrick Dunn.  "My mother's dream of home ownership inspired me to create this program, and it's priceless to see the look of joy on the faces of these single parents and their families when they step into their new fully furnished home and their dream becomes a reality."

The Boykin family was joined by Warrick Dunn Charities Founder Warrick Dunn, Aaron's Divisional Vice President Steve Jackson, Warrick Dunn Charities Interim Executive Director Lisa Chester, Atlanta Habitat of Humanity President and CEO Larrie Del Martin and Habitat for Humanity Vice President of Resource Development Melinda Kelleher.
