David M. Rhodus Named Vice President, Legal by Aaron Rents

ATLANTA, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Aaron Rents, Inc. (NYSE: RNT), today announced that David M. Rhodus has been appointed Vice President, Legal of the Company. He previously was a senior attorney in the corporate law department of Alumax Inc., an Atlanta-based Fortune 500 aluminum products company now part of Alcoa.

Prior to his serving with Alumax Inc. for the past year, Mr. Rhodus was Vice President and General Counsel of Atlantax Systems, Inc. of Atlanta from 1993 to 1997. He began his career in law at Wheeler & Mitchelson, Pittsburg, KS, 1972-1974; then he was a shareholder/director with Morris & Larson, P.C., Kansas City, MO, 1974-1988, and partner of Craft, Fridkin & Rhyne, Kansas City, 1988-1993.

Mr. Rhodus received a B.S. degree in business administration and his J.D. degree from the University of Kansas. A resident of Alpharetta, GA, he is a member of the Dunwoody Rotary Club.
